Mayors for Peace implements the Youth Exchange for Peace Support Program that provides support for young people from the member cities of Mayors for Peace to participate in peace programs in Hiroshima. Through this initiative, participants can deepen their understanding of the realities of the atomic bombings and engage in exchanges with other young people, with the ultimate goal of fostering the next generation of peace activists. This program aims to encourage them to take an active role in peace activities in their own cities, focusing on the abolition of nuclear weapons.
