Poster exhibition to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombings and other activities

October - November 2015 [Kotor, Montenegro]

– From October 2nd to 10th, the City of Kotor held a poster exhibition to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in the City’s Cultural Center. The exhibition was opened by Mr. Tvrtko Crpulja, the Deputy Mayor of the City of Kotor.

– On the 4th of October Kotor was visited by the ‘Peace boat’. On this occasion the NGOs and Tourism board of Kotor organized several workshops and reception at the City Council building for the visitors from the boat and a welcome event with traditional food, music and tour around Boka Bay.

– The Mayor of Kotor participated in the ‘Unity in Diversity‘ event in Florence from 4-8 November and witnessed the presentation of the La Pira Prize to Mayors for Peace by the City of Florence.

– On the 16th of November the Municipality of Kotor shared the Letter of Statement Regarding the Terrorist Attacks in Paris, France on the official web site of the town of Kotor.

Municipality of Kotor shall continue to support the activities of the Mayors for Peace organization in the future.
