On the occasion of the International Day of Peace in 2022, with the aim of continuing to promote activities in our community as a member city of Mayors for Peace since 2021, we held the “Stories for Peace” Contest on November 23, 2022.
For this contest we invited three primary schools from Marcos Paz, and the students wrote stories about peace and the danger of the use of nuclear weapons.
The municipality selected three winning stories and the prizes consisted of several boxes of books for the libraries of the participating schools.
