German Mayors for Peace Conference in Muenster

July 15, 2018 [German Chapter]

On June 15, the German Mayors for Peace Conference was held in Muenster, a Mayors for Peace member city. Before the conference got underway, about 40 members listened to the keynote speech given by Christoph Hallier, a government official, about the re-nuclearization of the European Security Policy. On the previous evening, almost 200 guests attended a public lecture entitled “Between vision and reality: New ways towards a nuclear-free world” held as part of the Mayors for Peace Conference.
