On the occasion of International Peace Day on September 21, several programs were held in Mellat Park in Behshahr, including a simulation of bombings during the wars, donation of olive branches to the victims of wars and reading a message from the Director General of UNESCO, Ms. Irina Bokova. Behshahr is a member city of Mayors of Peace.
