On 21 September, as part of the celebration of the International Day of Peace, the municipality joined an initiative by the United Nations and UNICEF, responding to a challenge that consisted of the institutions displaying a white piece to evoke the importance of peace and show their solidarity with those living in situations of war or conflict.
