Report by Ms. Bruna Rondoni, the City of Cervia
On January 22, 2025, the 4th anniversary of the entry into force of the TPNW, the Municipality of Cervia marked the occasion with the ringing of bells of the municipality building, the Cathedral and the other parishes in the area, in addition to the online testimony from a hibakusha.
The origami workshop “The 1000 Cranes of Hiroshima” was also organized in the public library by Caterina Comandini, who recalled the story of Sasaki Sadako. The event was very touching, exciting, and well-attended.
Additionally, until January 31, the public library featured the “Showcase of Readings”, a series of books on disarmament, peace, and human rights.
