Hiroshima Field Trip for Freshman, Central Connecticut State University
Twenty two freshmen students and two faculty members from Central Connecticut State University (CCSU), USA, conducted a field study in Hiroshima for two days from Wednesday, March 19 to Thursday, March 20, 2014. This field trip to Hiroshima was conducted under the program "Passport Global Citizenship to Japan".
Participants' activities included visits to the UNITAR Hiroshima office, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and the Museum, in addition to hearing to the testimony of A-bomb survivor Ms. Seiko Ikeda, and readings of poems on the A-bombing.
