Hiroshima Peace Study Field Trip of Hiroshima Cosmopolitan University (Japan) 2024
On June 15th (Sat), students in the Department of Child Education and the Department of Nursing of Hiroshima Cosmopolitan University visited Peace Memorial Park and learned about peace as part of the field study for the university's course “Hiroshima no Kokoro (Spirit of Hiroshima),” which is recognized as the Hiroshima-Nagasaki Peace Study Course.
The students deepened their understanding of the realities of the atomic bombing by visiting the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, listening to the testimony of an atomic bomb survivor, and touring memorial monuments and atomic-bombed trees in Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
