Hiroshima Peace Study Field Trip of Kyungpook National University (South Korea) 2024
On January 22nd (Mon), students from Kyungpook National University (South Korea) conducted a field trip for the “Hiroshima-Nagasaki Peace Study Course” in Hiroshima City. This program is run as the university’s Peace Study Program and as a part of the Hiroshima City University’s short-term overseas study program based on their Memorandum of Understanding. This was the fourth trip since the program was recognized as a Hiroshima-Nagasaki Peace Study Course in 2018.
In addition to touring the Peace Memorial Museum and Peace Memorial Park, the group also listened to the testimony of an atomic bomb survivor, Ms. Park Namjoo, deepening their understanding of the reality of the atomic bombing.
