Hiroshima Peace Study Field Trip of Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis 2019
6 students and 2 staff members visited Hiroshima as part of a study field trip from June 10 (Mon) to 12 (Wed), 2019. It was the 3rd trip since their field trip to Hiroshima was recognized as a Hiroshima-Nagasaki Peace Study Course in 2016.
They visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Radiation Effects Research Foundation. They also listened to the testimony of Ms. Keiko Ogura, an A-bomb survivor, and to readings of accounts of the A-bombing to understand the realities of what happened here.
