A group of stundents from American University (USA), Ritsumeikan University (Japan) and other universities visited Hiroshima as a part of their study tour from Thursday, August 4th to Saturday, August 6th.

Every year, this study tour is jointly organized by American and Ritsumeikan universities. During their stay in Hiroshima, they learned much about the reality of the atomic bombings, the meaning of the nuclear age and how to build a peaceful world through various activities including attending the Peace Memorial Ceremony, visiting the Peace Memorial Museum and other peace related facilities such as visiting the Radiation Effects Reserch Foundation, and taking part in a lecture by the Hiroshima Peace Institute.
